Mr. Friedlander became involved with the business on a consulting basis in 1997 and joined as its CEO in 2001. He has helped guide the company through its transition from an entrepreneurial venture to a professionally managed corporation. His previous experience includes international contract litigation with Cravath, investment banking with Bank of America, and a CFO role with ArcLight Cinema Company. Mr. Friedlander graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
Eric regularly guest lectures at the Anderson School at UCLA, the Marshall School at USC, the UC Irvine entrepreneurial program and California State Fullerton Family Business Council Program
Joanna Robertson - Vice President
Joanna Robertson is the Vice President of Physician Recruitment & Retention. Throughout the past 15 years, Robertson has held several different executive positions. She has a passion for business leadership and a knack for marketing, which makes her a unique person for the job.
She is able to attract and retain the top physicians in the area, providing them with a new workplace to call home for the rest of their careers. Robertson’s previous work experience includes roles at top public relations firms and advertising agencies, including Rogers and Cowan, Creative Artists Agencies and Adlink.
Stacy K. Yegn - Controller
Stacy joined Starpoint in 2010 and leads all preparation and reporting of the Company’s financial statements and budgets. Stacy has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience at private and public companies.
Prior to joining Starpoint, Stacy served as a Director of Finance and Corporate Controller for CAM Commerce Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing payment processing and POS industry leading firm, and prior thereto worked at Westar Systems, an access security contracting firm. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from California State University of Fullerton.
On Friday, April 30, 2004, Eric D. Friedlander, Starpoint Health’s CEO, had one of those ‘a-ha’ moments in one’s business life. Mr. Friedlander returned back to his business school (Anderson School at UCLA) to attend the 2004 Entrepreneurs Conference where the school was honoring Marc Benioff, the Chairman and CEO of Salesforce.com.
